Gabrielle is a lifelong artist whose journey began with mud pies and beaded jewellery, evolving into printmaking, drawing, watercolour, writing, and silversmithing. In 2023, she immersed herself in online learning to deepen her skills for surface pattern design. The artist’s process begins with hand-drawn motifs inspired by historical Asian and European illustrations, a reflection of Gabrielle’s own mixed heritage. She blends these influences to create designs that embody her "Modern Heritage" style: timeless yet contemporary. Her work showcases a passion for classic, high-quality aesthetics, with heirloom and vintage sensibilities, all complemented by delicate, feminine touches. Her work is vector-based, crafted from hand drawings in Adobe Illustrator.
